Goostree, Dylan Paul, 20, left the world peacefully on May 28, 2010. He was a former student of Bishop Carroll High School. Dylan is survived by his parents, Dennis “Dale” and Shiela; his brother, Dennis “Jess” of Lawrence, KS and his sister, Amber (Charles) Sales of Pier, Belgium. He also leaves his paternal grandmother, Sue Goostree of Haysville, KS. He is survived by two nephews, five aunts, five uncles, 34 cousins, so many loving friends, and mans best friend, Jade. Rosary, Wednesday, June 2, 7 p.m.; Funeral, Thursday, June 3, 1 p.m., both at St. Peters Catholic Church, Schulte, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas 67219.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Goostree, I am so sorry to hear about Dylan’s passing. Please know that while I knew him at Bishop Carroll he was a great guy. He made people laugh, told hilarious jokes, kept classes from being too boring, and made me feel welcome at a new school and new town. He will be missed. I send you my prayers and blessings.
I love you so very much. You have been the brightest ray of sunshine in my life. Thank you for everything little brother…. you are loved and will be missed SO very much!!!!
