Adams, W. Mike, 76, President of WMA Corporation, died Sunday, May 29, 2005. Visitation with the family 6:30 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, June 2, 2005, memorial service 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 3, 2005, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Mike was a graduate of East High and W.S.U. and attended the K.U. School of Law. He was a life member of KU Alumni Association since 1959, Jay Hawk Society member since 2000, and Delta Upsilon. Mike served in the Marine Corps, was on the board of Heartspring, Wesley Foundation, Wesley Hospital and the Eye Foundation. Preceded in death by parents, Mark Helen Adams, and brother Mark Adams, Jr. Survivors, wife, Joanne; son daughter-in-law, Greg Adams Misty Hook, of McKinney, TX; triplet daughters and son-in-law, Ashley Adams, of Chicago, IL., Elizabeth Adams, of Manhattan, KS., Jennifer Brian Arnold, of Wichita; nephew, Mark Adams, III, of Wichita; niece, Becky Adams, of Wichita; grandchildren, Rebekah Joel Arnold, Ian Hook-Adams, Faith Adams. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Mark H. Adams Sr. Scholarship Fund, School of Law c/o KU Endowment Association, P.O. Box 928, Lawrence, KS 66044-0928 and Heartspring 8700 E. 29th Street North, Wichita, KS 67226. Visitation with the family is 6:30-8:00 P.M., Thursay, June 2, Downing Lahey East Mortuary.

I remember that he was always ready with a word of encouragement, a gentle smile, and the desire to help anyone in need. He will be missed by so many!
