  2. I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH EVELYN, AND WE PLAYED BASKET BALL TOGETHER. SHE LAUGHED ALOT IN THOSE DAYS, AND THE LAST COTTON I PICKED WAS WITH HER. I WAS CLOSE TO HER AND ROY, AND HELPED THEM GO ON LOTS OF DATES TOGETHER. THEY WAS SO IN LOVE .IT BROKE THEIR HEART WHEN THEY LOST JIMMY,& I DON’T THINK THEY EVER WAS THE SAME FUN LOVING COUPLE. NOW SHE IS SMILING AGAIN WITH ROY, AND JIMMY GOD BLESS WITH LOVE, ALMA (WEST) WARD

  3. I am missing ‘Ev’ and I know you all are also, having wonderful family memories helps. There was not another person like Ev nor will there be another!!!! My name is Teddy Evans although Ev called me Teddy Sue {my given name, yes I am female} I met Ev in 1990 at a silicone support group meeting. Since I was night manager of Battered Women’s Safehouse I became facilitator for our silicone group. Ev and I became close friends, she often confided in me and others in our group. It was hard for her and Roy to live in a little apartment while their house was being rebuilt after the tornado had destroyed their home but Ev had funny stories about Roy and her trying to go through the narrow hallways together they both really teased each other joked to gether most of the time.Things became more difficult after Roy’s death, I believe he held her together as much as possible. Ev went on little trips with her cousin Becky and Becky came to visit many times and Ev really enjoned Becky, they also went to church together so we all got to know Becky and how close they were…Ev would do something funny to make Becky laugh so hard she would wet her pants then Ev would have to tell everyone and she laughed each time she told us. Ev enjoyed her Nephews visits especially Danny,Charles and Jerry and their families,Ev always had a good time with all of her nieces, nephews and cousins.Yes Ev had problems , it wasn’t her fault and it didn’t keep her from loving all of you, her heart was very loving and that never changed…..Ev cared about all of you, she alwasys did. No illness can change love in your heart. I miss her so much if there is anything I can do to help please let me know.My phone is 316-942-5169.
