Milton “Milt” Wesley Calhoun, 80, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Feburary 15, 2014. His wife of 60 years, Marilyn, daughters and family were at his bedside. Visitation with the family, 7-8:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 19, Downing Lahey West. Funeral service, 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 20, Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. Milt was born January 31, 1934 in Belmont, Kansas to Lloyd and Majel Calhoun. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, retired from his work as a Wholesale Grocer and later worked for Baughman Engineering. He loved traveling, community and church volunteer work and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Buhrer); his three daughters, Joan Burton (Ken) of Manhattan, Karen Hanson (Dirk) of Wamego, Carla Froggatte (Theron) of Wichita; sisters, Norma Jean Walcher of Harper, Ellen Catlin of Augusta, Betty Krehbiel of Cheney, Beverly Buttram (Wayne) of Mannford, OK; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial fund established with Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 1600 W. 27th St N., Wichita, KS 67204.
