Angel Marquez Martinez, 95, homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Friday, September 16, 2016. Born October 1, 1920 in Mulvane, KS and was baptized at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wichita. Rosary and Vigil will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 6:00 pm at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington D.C. at a later date. Angel was in Sweet Adelines in Seattle, WA and Wichita. She also volunteered at the gift shop at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital. Preceded by parents, Fermin Marquez and Carmen Marquez Frescas; brother, Raymon Marquez; sister, Amy Coleman; brother, George Marquez; husband, Daniel E. Martinez. Survived by Robert Michael (Barb) Martinez; granddaughter, Kristen Alyssa Martinez Kneidel; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Stella Rose Kneidel; niece, Mary (Mark) Zuffo Marquez; grandnephew, Anthony.
