Sandlin, Perry “Pete”, 67, retired, died Thursday, May 31, 2012. Memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 6 at First Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by parents, Arold A. and Nell Margaret Sandlin and sister, Loy Oglesbay. Survivors: wife of 47 years, Carol (Surtees) Sandlin; daughters, Ashley Sandlin (John Pounds) and Hilary Norris (John), both of Wichita; grandson, Garrett Norris. Memorials have been established with ALS Assn. (Keith Worthington Chapter), 3450 N. Rock Rd., Bldg. 200, S-211, Wichita, KS, 67226 and First Presbyterian Church, 525 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS, 67214. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

I was very saddened to hear of Pete’s passing. I used to babysit the girls, along with my sister Susie, quite a bit. Pete was always so nice and funny. All our prayers are with Carol and the girls. (((Hugs)))
