Gene L. Kidwell

Gene L. Kidwell, 77, retired oil pipeline operator, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 14, 2016. Visitation with the family, 3-5 p.m., Sunday, January 17; Service, 2 p.m., Monday, January 18, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West, 10515 W. Maple in Wichita. Interment will follow at Maize Park Cemetery, Maize, KS. Gene is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Kidwell of Maize; 4 children, Curtis Kidwell (Allison) of Goddard; Teena Coopersmith (Ron) of Springboro, OH, Eric Kidwell (Amy), Jared Kidwell (Shawna) all of Wichita, and his 8.5 grandchildren. Memorial established with Trinity Christian Center, 2356 N. Arkansas, Wichita, KS 67204.
