Tolbert, Birdie E. “Jack”, 92, retired truck driver and Beech aircraft employee, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011. A Celebration of Jacks Life will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 22, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East Chapel. Survived by wife, Pearl; son, Gary (Andrea) Tolbert of Rose Hill, KS; daughter, Joleta Laktash of Des Moines, IA; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild. Memorial established with Hospice Care of Kansas, 2622 W. Central, S. 501, Wichita, KS, 67203.
