Norma J. Hoch

Norma J. Hoch, age 77, passed away peacefully, July 20, 2016, at Via Christi St. Francis, after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma cancer. Norma was a loving wife, soul mate, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She loved Beagle dogs, the cabin along the Taylor River in Colorado, trout fishing and entertaining family. She retired from the Wichita Eagle where she had worked for 20 years along with her husband, Leland, who had worked there for 33 years. Preceding her in death were her parents, Virgil and Merle Dunlavy. Norma is survived by her husband of 58 years, Leland, with whom she was inseparable until now by the bounds of this earth; brother, Robert Dunlavy (Margaret); sons, Brad (Sara), Kent (Michelle); grandchildren, Spencer, Garrett, Preston, Natalee, and all her extended family. Visitation with the family present will be 1-2:30 p.m., Sunday, July 24, Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Services, 10 a.m., Monday, July 25, Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Rd., Wichita.
