William A. Keast

Keast, William A., 93, born in Larned, KS., passed away Wednesday, September 19. 2012. Bill was educated at Kansas University, before serving in the Pacific theatre during World War II. He returned to Wichita to start his family with his wife, June Florence, and begin a forty year career as a Quality Control Foreman at Beech Aircraft. He loved working in stained glass, music, bicycling, swimming, and tennis. His avid interest in fitness contributed to his long healthy life. Survivors: daughter Nancy Priest (Nelson) of Denver, CO; son Grant Keast (Cheryl); grandson Ted Keast, of Closter, NJ. A memorial has been established with Hospice Care of Kansas, 2622 W. Central Ave., Suite 501 Wichita, Kansas 67203. Services will be held at a future date.
