Charles T. Slack

Charles T. Slack, 91, passed away Friday, March 10, 2017, surrounded by family. Charles was a career engineer with Kewanee Oil and Lario Oil and a graduate of Texas A&M University. He was a longtime, active member of Westlink Christian (Pathway) Church. Charles enjoyed spending time with family, RV traveling, hunting and visiting. He enjoyed the support of his friends sharing laughs and stories. Funeral Service, 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 18, Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Preceded in death by parents, Armond and Lillie Slack. Survivors, wife, Martha; daughter, Rebecca A. Forsythe (Douglas) of Ft. Worth, TX; sons, Mark Slack of Castle Rock, CO, Steve Slack (Sheryl) of Wichita; brother, Jack Slack of Refugio, TX; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with Pathway Church, 2001 N. Maize Road, Wichita, KS 67212 and Alzheimer’s Association, 1820 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67214.
