Azim, Edward R. “Eddie”, 83, retired City of Wichita inspector, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2009. Service 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 24 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East, 6555 E. Central. Preceded in death by brothers Dick and Kaleem. Survivors: wife, Patricia (Bernard) Azim; children, Rene Highberg (Rob) of Snohomish, WA, Michelle Patton (Terry) of Wichita, and step-daughter, Kelly Gentry (Kris) of Wichita; sister, Florence Johnson of Yuba City, CA; grandchildren Derek, Erik, Stephanie, and Megan. A memorial has been established with Alzheimers Association, 347 Laura, Wichita, KS, 67211.
