Lynn B. Westbrook

Westbrook, Lynn B., 78, retired minister, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 P.M., Sunday, September 23 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral service will be 10 A.M., Monday, September 24 at the Wichita Seventh Day Adventist Church, 820 W. 27th S., Wichita. Interment will be 2 P.M., Tuesday, September 25 at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne, OK. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas Nelson and Mary Ona Westbrook and brother, Thomas Nelson Westbrook, Jr. Survivors: wife, Sally (Bowers) Westbrook; children, Karen Westbrook-McCarthy (Tom), Brant Westbrook (Michelle), Joel E. Westbrook and Thomas Westbrook; sister, Shirley Westbrook-McClure; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice for their compassionate care of Lynn. A memorial has been established with the Wichita Adventist Christian Academy, 2725 S. Osage, Wichita, KS 67217.
