Lynarlin L. Cain-Courtney, 72, Social Worker, passed peacefully away on the morning of Thursday, September 20, 2018. Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Helen Cavanaugh. Survived by her sons, Christopher Cain of Wichita, KS, Michael Cain, Ryan Cain, Jim Cain. She was a generous, selfless, dedicated, loving mother of 4 sons, grandmother of 5, and great grandmother of 1. A memorial has been established with: Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.

Lyn was an amazing person, she taught me so much about living a peaceful life. Ive never met anyone like her, and doubt I ever will! She full filled her purpose in this life, and now is with our heavenly father. My life was so enriched by knowing her, and she always saw the best in everyone! I hope she knew how grateful I was to have her friendship! My condolences to her family! Lyn had a beautiful spirit, and the best hugs! I truly will miss her with all my heart! Her whole life was spent helping others, and teaching them to love themselves! This is a very hard loss, but a beautiful woman that has moved onto her heavenly home!
