Carol A. (Clinesmith) Coffey

Carol A. Coffey (Clinesmith), 67, beloved sister, aunt and friend, passed away during heart surgery, Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Rosary, 7 p.m., Friday, June 6, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Saturday, June 7, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husband, Charlie; brother, David Clinesmith, and parents, Herbert E. and R. Aileen Clinesmith. After earning her MBA at USC, Carol and her late husband introduced and implemented the first cellular communications system in Russia. She was currently the co-owner of three Scooters franchises. Carol was an avid volunteer which included doing data entry for Catholic Charities and working at St. Francis of Assisi parish. She was a very active member of West Wichita Business Women and a frequent blood donor. Survivors: siblings, Susan Willis, Patricia Allen (Gary), Richard Clinesmith (Candi), Beth Dundas (Jeff Schmidt), Deb Siems (Ed), Peggy Marr (Jim), Mike Clinesmith (Diane), Jill Parrish (Scott) Jerri Brewer (Eric), Joni Tureskis, Joanna Clinesmith (Denny Diekroeger) and Gary Clinesmith (Kim), and her circle of dear girlfriends.
