Oliver, Edna, 82, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011. Service, 1 p.m., Thursday, February 24, West Side Christian Church. Preceded in death by husband, Charles; daughter, Sherry Schmidt; sisters, Hallie Pipkin, Iris Hawley Snapp, Jennie Ruth Spurrier; brother, Frank Ritchey. Survivors: sons, Stuart Oliver (Debbie) of Cheney and Kevin Oliver of Key West, FL; son-in-law, Alan Schmidt (Lis) of Wichita; sisters, Lois Butler of Cheney and Julia House of Topeka; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial established with West Side Christian Church, 1819 W. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67213. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.

Kevin, Stuart, Alan, and extended family, I was so sad to hear about Kit’s death. We’re never ready to lose our parents, regardless of the circumstances.
