Boothe, Elaine A., 82, homemaker, died Thursday, September 22, 2011. Rosary service 7:00 p.m., Sunday and Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m., Monday, both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Ken Lucille Van De Walle, and her husband, James Boothe. She is survived by her son Kelly (Jackie), of Wichita; daughters, Cathy Hammans (John), Vicki Wright (Joe), both of Wichita, Mary Phillips (Patrick), of Augusta, Julie Kaiser (Alan), of Kechi; 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the Priest Retirement Education Fund (PREF), for the benefit of Seminarian Education, 424 North Broadway, Wichita, Kansas, 67202, and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Inc, 313 South Market, Wichita, Kansas, 67202. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

I was sorry to hear about your Mom. I have very fond memories of her while growing up in Kansas. We had many visits when I returned from time to time. She was such a gracious person. I’m sure that all of you will miss her.
