Rev. Marvin George Boyles Born February 22, 1932 in Lone Wolf, OK to Teeny and Charles Boyles, Marvin George Boyles went to meet His Lord on Monday, February 20, 2017, surrounded by his family. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Douglas Avenue Assembly of God. Preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. Survived by his wife, Floreta Boyles; children, Gene (Rusti) Boyles of Waldorf, MD, Pava Myers of Tecumseh, OK, Tim (Debbie) Boyles of Sapulpa, OK; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; host of loving friends. Marvin was a guard at the Oklahoma State Reformatory for 11 years before becoming a minister for 48 years. A memorial has been established with Douglas Avenue Assembly of God, 4501 W. Douglas Ave., Wichita, KS 67209. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
