Catherine Caleda Ewing

Ewing, Catherine Caleda, 95, retired Wichita Clinic Medical Stenographer, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012. Visitation with the family is 7:00~9:00 PM Monday at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary and graveside service is 1:00 PM Tuesday at Lakeview Cemetery. She was born April 16, 1917 in Independence, KS to Charles and Grace Crosson. Preceded in death by her husband Donald M. Ewing; parents; sisters, Treva Parks, Eulala Ryder, Mildred Banks; brothers, John and Willard Crosson. Survivors include her daughter; Barbara (Bob) Vance of Lake Oswego, OR; son, Steve (Anita) Ewing of Wichita; brother Charles Crosson of Tijeras, NM; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
