Arlene Burton Ross

Arlene (Burton) Ross, 92, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at Presbyterian Manor. Arlene was a retired homemaker. She was born January 22, 1923, the daughter of Orval and Glenna (Dent) Burton. On March 18, 1944, she married Calvin Ross. Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harold Burton; sister, Betty Messerschmidt; husband; son, Roger, and daughter-in-law, Ann (Stark) Ross; nephew, Charles Messerschmidt. Survivors: son, Kent of Colorado; daughter-in-law, Deborah (Watts) Ross of Ohio; grandson, Derek (Stacy); granddaughter, Amiee (Chris) Carlson; 3 great-grandsons, Tyler, Matthew and Eastin, all of Colorado; 2 nieces, Janet Messerschmidt and Peggy (Steve) Arnold; special caregiver for the last five years, Sandy (Heasty) Herndon. Memorial Service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 10 at Presbyterian Manor Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ALS Association or Cancer Research.
