H. Marjorie Blanchat

Blanchat, H. Marjorie, 91, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, September 24, 2010. Visitation with the family is 5:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday and funeral service is 11:00 am Wednesday both at Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Marjorie was born May 23, 1919 in Coats, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred E. and Vera Basye, sister, V. Alberta Basye, brother, Charles F. Basye, husband, Vincent Wayne Blanchat Sr., and son, Vincent Wayne Blanchat Jr. She is survived by her children, Dana Ireland, (Kent), Denise Blanchat Eden (Bruce) and Danielle Blanchat Rippel (Robert), all of Wichita, Gregg Blanchat (Kelli) of Derby and Michael Blanchat (Lisa) of Montrose, CO, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family and those who loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to Faith Hospice, 7804 E. Funston, S-203, Wichita, KS, 67207.
