Moss, Lorene, 88, retired accounting clerk and homemaker, passed away September 24, 2011 of an apparent heart attack in the home she loved. Visitation, with family present, 7:00 to 8:30 PM, Wednesday, September 28, 2011 and Funeral Service, Thursday, 1:30 PM, September 29, 2011. Both will be at Downing and Lahey, East. Lorene was a long time member of the Eastridge Church of the Nazarene. She was born April 3, 1923, to Claud and Cornelia Cassity in Caney, Kansas. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard, two sons, Roger and Donald, her parents, three brothers, and four sisters. Lorene is survived by her son, Billy Moss (Jerilyn), daughter-in-law Rose Moss Stroud, 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 3step-great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial has been established with Eastridge Church of the Nazarene, 6433 East Morris, Wichita, KS 67207. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
