Geraldine Laura (Adams) Renteria, 96, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and mentor, passed on December 19, 2018. Born in Carroll County, Missouri, September 5, 1922. Graduated from East High School. Worked at Boeing Wichita as a welder and inspector and then became a housewife. Married Ralph Renteria in Wichita, Kansas October 2, 1943. Married 70 years. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Renteria; son, Raul (Skeeter); 4 sisters; 1 brother. Survived by her daughter-in-law, Maria Renteria (Skeeter); son, Ronald; daughter, Dana Clark (Kendall); son, Marc (Lissa); 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 half brothers. A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date as her remains were donated to the Kansas University of Medicine. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
