Donnalea H. Haynes, 99, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018. Donnalea was born January 5, 1919 to Eunice and Larkin Keown. She married Charles Haynes on July 23, 1943. She worked for ARA Food Service as a bookkeeper. She was an avid quilter, square dancer, Shocker fan, and walker at the YMCA. She also kept score for her childrens sporting events. Donnalea is survived by sons, Darryl (Carly) Haynes of Andover, KS, Jim Haynes of Wichita, KS; daughter, Janean (Charles) Roosevelt of Alvin, TX; son, Rocky (Susan) Haynes of Tucson, AZ; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Larkin and Eunice Keown; husband, Charles in 1991; brother, Robert Keown; sister, Jeralean Keown; grandson, Benjamin Roosevelt. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am; Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am, Friday, December 28, 2018, at Andover United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with: Andover United Methodist Church, 1429 N. Andover Rd., Andover, KS 67002; Andover YMCA Silver Sneaker Program, 1115 US-54, Andover, KS 67002. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
