Herbert Eugene Jones
Herbert Eugene Jones, 75, owner of Jones Engineering & Manufacturing (JEM), went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Herb was an engineer at PDG, Boeing, Cessna, and retired from Beech, prior to forming JEM. Herbert will be in-state after 2:00 pm with Family Visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Berean Assembly of Wichita, 1215 W. Carey Ln. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Preceded in death by his parents, Gomer W. and Catherine M. Jones; sister, Carel L. Golden. Survived by his wife, Kay J. Jones; sons, David E. (Ashley J.) Jones, Matthew W. Jones, Christopher A. Jones, all of Rose Hill, KS; sisters, Cathy J. Parsons of Andover, KS, Nancy E. Jones of Rose Hill, KS; numerous nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Kaylie, Johnathan, Kassadie, Christopher, Baylee, Hope, Cheyanne, Bradly, Joshua, Josiah.
