Barkett, Milton, 90, retired food service equipment business owner, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Trisagion and funeral service 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. Milton was born in Oilton, OK and moved to Buffalo, OK. In 1952 he married Lucille Ablah. They later moved to Wichita. Survivors: wife, Lucille (Ablah) Barkett; sons, Henry Barkett (Kim) of Chandler, AZ, Barry Barkett of Olathe, KS and Eric Barkett of Wichita; sister, Gloria Barkett of Wichita; brothers, Tony Barkett (Grace), Howard Barkett and Phil Barkett (Julie), all of Wichita; 2 grandchildren. Memorials have been established with St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral, 7515 E. 13th, Wichita, KS, 67206 and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS, 67202. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
