Bruce Addington

Addington, Bruce, 89, died June 7. Memorial Service 10 A.M., Sat., June 20, 2015 at Pine Valley Christian Church. Bruce was raised on a farm outside Altoona, KS. He left the farm in 1943 to become a Naval aviator. His love of aviation resulted in a 23 year career with Beech Aircraft Corp, retiring in 1989. As a flight instructor, Bruce taught many people to fly and provided thousands of hours of flight instruction. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Jackie; son, Chris (Susan); daughter, Lisa Deeds (Richard); sister, Lynda Newland; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
