Martha Slack
passed away peacefully in her home June 7, 2018. Martha was born November 24, 1927, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, and is survived by her daughter, Becky (Doug) Forsythe; sons, Mark (Julie) Slack and Steve (Sheryl) Slack, along with six grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren. Marthas faith in God and her example have been a blessing to her family and friends for decades. A private family service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Koinonia Senior Care, 13303 W. Maple, Suite 139, PMB #128, Wichita, KS 67235. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.

Your mom always brought a smile to my face. Praying for you all
What a blessing it has been to know Charles and Martha over the past four years and to help the family coordinate care when needed. It was an honor to love on this couple, hear their life stories and be inspired by Marthas beautiful spirit as she weathered many storms with grace and dignity. She is missed.
