Mary Jean Wells

Mary Jean (Nilles, Kline) Wells, 74, passed away unexpectedly September 25, 2013, after a long illness. Preceded in death by father, Albert Nilles; brother, Leon Nilles; husband, Theodore “Mike” Kline, and husband, Gordon Wells. Survivors: mother, Cathryn Nilles of Goddard; brother, Jerome Nilles (Doris) of Andale; children, Stephen Kline (Darcy) of Springdale, AR, Shelley Kline of Minneapolis, MN, Scott Kline (Diane) of Wichita; stepdaughter, Vicki Hamilton (Eddie) of Goddard, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The true lights of her world were her precious granddaughters, Taylor Kline of Springdale, AR, and Savanah Kline of Wichita. Mary Jean was a longtime employee of the Wescon Products purchasing department. She loved dancing, travel, and spending time with family. As a young widow, she managed to forge a life of education and opportunity for her 3 children. For her sacrifices, friendship, and support throughout the years, they are truly grateful. Rosary and visitation, 7 p.m., Sunday, September 29, Downing and Lahey Mortuary West. Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m., Monday, September 30, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Memorials preferred to food shelves/shelters, pet rescue and hospice organizations.
