Aunt Verna, I treasure our wonderful memories and for the many things you taught me. The laughs, cocktail times, staying in our jammies or cooking all day. You are an important part of my life and I love you so much. Prayers for the guys and that your journey home is a beautiful one. I already miss you Connie
Aunt Laverne was one of my favorite people in my life. She was smart, witty, kind, and she was full of life. She made friends with everyone with her kind words and genuine caring and concern. I love you so much Verna, life will not be the same without you. Until we meet again. All my love, your niece, Wanda.
Im glad that you got to meet my fiance before you passed. Mom and dad where so happy to see you, Harry and Steve. We love you guys.. love Dave boger (surprise arizona)
Aunt LaVerna, you were so special to me! I remember all the Christmas Eves we spent at your house in Great Bend with Grandma and Grandpa Boger! I even remember when Stephen came into our lives! He was such a cutie! When you moved to Wichita I was so sad! When we saw you in September, it was so nice that you were feeling well enough to visit with us! I know you are in a better place and out of pain! You will be missed by all of us, and our love is with you always! Love, Your niece,
Dianne
Dear Harold and Steve,
I am so sorry about Verna. You will miss her terribly. I will always remember her laughing.
Harold and Steve so sorry to read of Vernas passing. Although it has been many years since I have seen you, not much time goes go by that I dont have a wonderful memory of my childhood that includes your family. My thoughts and prayers are with the both of you during this difficult time. Rest in peace Verna.
LaVerna has been a select and dear friend of my wife and of me. I worked at the sod fountain of the ABC Drug Store in Great Bend and LaVerna, Helen (their Friend) would come into the store after attending St. Rose Church in the P.M. I introduced her to Harry upon a visit to San Diego, while Harry and I were in the Navy. Virginia and I wish Harry and the family our best wishes and deepest sympathy.
LaVerna was a wonderful, welcoming neighbor. She baked us an upside-down pineapple cake when my husband and I moved into the neighborhood. We would often chat about our dogs and life in general. She will be missed dearly.
LaVerna, thank you for allowing me into your world. You were an ear I always leaned to, when I needed it. We shared stories on our outings. You help me to see so much more than I could at the time. You and Harold were my bright spot. You always lifted me out of my misery and encourage me to continue on. May the heavenly Angels embrace you, and the good Lord hold you tight. I will see you again in the presence of God Almighty. Until that time comes, I will miss the heck out of you. I love you LaVerna and thank you again for being a true friend and buddy.
My dear sweet friend LaVerna Im sure gonna miss you. You was a big part of my life these past 20 years. You was like a second mom to me. I will always treasure all are memories we made. Rest in peace my friend. Love you always and forever.
Spending time with Aunt Verna was always enjoyable. Warm memories from oh so long ago starting with the house on Meadowlark Lane in Great Bend, experiencing sadness when the family moved to Wichita. But when they would come back to Great Bend to visit staying in the Highland Manor they would have a poolside room which as a kid I thought was super neat. But swimming with Steve way too long landed us with blistering sunburns! Christmas Eve celebrations at the house on South Yale. Then many more special family gatherings after the move to the house on Live Oak Lane. I am grateful for all the good times. Now she is in heaven for eternity with her mom and dad and all her brothers and sisters.
You were a special lady!
MANY GOOD MEMORIES AND LAUGHS THRUOUT OUR
SPECIAL FRIENDSHIP. PRAYERS AND BLESSINGS.

Dear Harold and Steve, I wrote on the guest book the other day but forgot to sign my name. I loved Verna and remember the fun times we had having coffee together and sunbathing in the back yard. She was always a lot of fun and loved you and Steve so much. God bless both of you during this lonely time. Kathleen McCorgary
Steve,
Im sorry to learn of your mothers death. I think of her every year at Christmas. We went to your parents home one year and she had everything so beautifully decorated. I had never seen a poinsettia TREE.
I will be praying for your consolation. I hope you will get in touch if there is anything I can do.
Beth Christensen- an old Wichita State Bank buddy
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
