Howard, Michael Allen “Mike”, 49, died Tuesday, September 26, 2006. Visitation 7:00 ~ 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 28, and service 10:00 A.M., Friday, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Interment 2:30 P.M., Friday, Graceland Cemetery, Burlington, KS. Mike was proud of his job as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army during Christmas. Mike is survived by his mother, Artis Knowles of Wichita, brothers, Gary Howard (Bonita) of Moundridge, KS and Johnnie Howard of Wichita, sisters, Betty Rader (Scott) of Augusta, KS, Mary Lou Howard of Wichita and many nieces and nephews. Memorials have been established with the Mental Health Association of S. Central Kansas, 555 N. Woodlawn, Wichita, KS, 67208 and Catholic Charities, 437 N. Topeka, Wichita, KS, 67202.
