Duguid, Catherine, 85, died Saturday, June 8, 2013. Funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Graveside service 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, Kansas. Catherine was wonderful wife and friend. She was an exceptional mother with compassion for all. She had great style, class and a wonderful sense of humor. All who knew her loved that about her. Cathy will be greatly missed by all. Cathy was preceded in death by her husband Edward Allen Duguid; parents, Chester and Grace (Wolfe) Benfer. She is survived by her daughters, Beth Beeman (Ron), and Lindy Wiese (Daniel); 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, all of Wichita. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 North Hillside, Wichita, Kansas, 67219. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
