Jean Marguerite (Stoll) Wolcott

Jean Marguerite (Stoll) Wolcott, 93, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015, and is now happily reunited in death with her daughter Teresa. Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., Monday, September 28, 2015, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Jean graduated from Cathedral High School in 1939 and went on to spend the next four years at Wichita University. During that time, she was a member of Sorosis (Delta Delta Delta). She married Edward (Ted) Wolcott when he returned from overseas duty in the Pacific. She belonged to several social organizations, including Delta Rho Sigma, and Agatherians. She was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Teresa Ann; parents, Henry and Lucille Stoll; two sisters, Wyrill Lester and Patricia Melcher; and former husband, Edward (Ted) Wolcott. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Wolcott, Carolyn (Terry) Gartside; brother, William Stoll; two grandsons, Peter and Mark (Jennifer) Galbraith; two granddaughters, Mandy Gartside and Carrie Anthony; plus six great-grandchildren.
