Kathryn M. Snyder

Kathryn M. Snyder, 91, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother of 17, registered nurse and homemaker, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013. Rosary, 7 p.m., Monday, September 30; Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 1, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Kathryn was born in Capron, OK to William J. and Katherine (Johnston) Rea. She was a 1943 graduate of St. Francis School of Nursing. Kathryn was a charter, and active, member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and was especially fond of the “Over 55 Club.” She also enjoyed watching Kansas Jayhawks basketball. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Mamie, Gertrude, Minnie, Dora, Lula, Tommy and Johnny; husband, Kenneth F. Snyder. Survivors: sons, Kenneth (Robin), Keith (Stephanie) and Jack (Debbie) all of Wichita; brother, Bill Rea of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Sarah Suellentrop (Brian), Chris Snyder (Marcie), Ryan Snyder (Erica), Ashley Snyder, Collin Snyder (Joanna), Britton Snyder, Chrissy Glanzer (Matt), Ross Snyder, Jenny Miller (John) and Jaci Mohr (Chad).
