Blue, Ralph Earl Sr., 81, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, departed this life to be with the Lord on Monday, February 25, 2008. Born June 22, 1926 in Isabel, KS. Ralph was retired from Boeing Aircraft, an owner/operator of the Dairy Queen on South Seneca, and the restaurant equipment business. Visitation with the family starting at 5:00 P.M. and a Rosary following at 7:00 P.M., both Wednesday, February 27, at Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Service, 10:30 A.M., Thursday, February 28, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Preceded in death by son-in-law, John D. Beck. Survivors: wife, Mary Anne; children, Yvonne Beck, Stephen (Donna) Blue, Pamela (Stephen) West, Ralph (Shelia) Blue, Jr., Kenneth (Terri) Blue, John Blue, all of Wichita; brothers, Charles Blue of Mulvane, Robert Blue of Wichita; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Memorials to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, 861 N. Socora, Wichita, KS 67212.

Ralph was a fantastic person and a great neighbor. When I was working out in the yard he would quite often drive over on his tractor for some friendly conversation….and I will miss that terribly. I counted him as a good friend and I know that my dad did as well. If the family needs anything just let me know.
