Lynne Pechin

Lynne Pechin, 80 years old, of Derby went to be with the Lord January 30, 2019. Lynne was born in Chicago, IL January 20, 1939. She moved to Wichita and graduated from North High School. She married for life to Howard Pechin, and they had two sons. Lynne was a long-time resident of Derby, KS and a real estate agent/broker for 40+ years. She loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was also an animal lover and advocate. She loved to cook, watch her grandsons play baseball, her bowling league, and was a good friend to many. She helped many people, if someone was in need she was there. She is survived by her son, Wes Pechin; daughter-in-law, Cathy Pechin; grandchildren, Cash, Asa, Colby, and April; and her beloved dog, Bindie. Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, February 6, 2019, 10:30 a.m., Countryside Christian Church. A memorial has been established with Countryside Christian Church, 1919 S. Rock Rd., Wichita, KS 67207. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.

Lynne was a very sweet, caring lady. I loved bowling with her and we shared many fun times on our Wednesday night league. I will miss her. My condolences to the Pechin family.
Lynn was a very caring and wonderful person. Worked with her at Weigand in Derby, and she was always friendly and helpful. So sorry to hear about her passing.
