Demuth, Corey L., 42, contractor and trim carpenter, died Saturday, September 29, 2007. Visitation with the family 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 2, Downing and Lahey West Mortuary. Services will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, October 3, Westlink Christian Church. Preceded in death by sister-in-law, Lynette Bussey. Survivors include wife, Brenda; children,Mallorey, Hannah and Isaac; parents, Dennis and Betty Demuth of Peck, KS; sisters and brother-in-law, Denise “Punk” and Steven Edwards of Edmond, OK, Wendy Demuth of Shawnee Mission, KS; brothers and sister-in-laws, Craig and Heidi Demuth of Clearwater, Gery and Belinda Demuth and Perry Demuth both of Shawnee Mission, KS; mother and father-in-law, Virginia and Ed Means of Edmond OK; sister-in-law and husband, Kathleen and Mel Lorg of Wichita; many nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with Demuth Family Memorial Fund, Garden Plain State Bank, P.O. box 75009, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Visitation with the family 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, October 2, Downing and Lahey West Mortuary

  21. I would like to say how sorry I am to hear of Corey’s passing. Growing up in Liberal Corey was always someone who presented a positive and friendly demeanor. He will be missed and I can honestly say that I am a better person for knowing Corey while growing up in Liberal.

  22. Brenda, Coreys ceremony was beautiful. My heart aches for you and your children. As I said before, you will find strength and comfort in Christ, family, and friends. You have several friends who are willing to help, myself included. God bless you and your family. Corey will be missed.

  24. We had the priviledge of getting to know Corey, Brenda and their beautiful children during our 20th High School reunion. We enjoyed the time spent with them and we know that he will be missed by so many people. May God comfort you like only His love can during this time of loss.   29. May God comfort everyone in this very difficult time. Rest assured that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many that care for you all. It wont make the pain and sadness go away, but hopefully a sense of peace will guide you along the way. Corey will be missed as a son, brother, husband, father and friend.
