Thornton, Jerry Dean, 64, retired after 33 years from Raytheon as a crew chief, died Thursday, February 26, 2009. Rosary 7:30 P.M., Sunday, March 1, and Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 2, both at Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church. Jerry was a Marine Corp veteran. Preceded in death by parents, Cleo and Ollie Thornton. Survivors: wife, Sherrie (Brazill); sisters, Lee Rigg of Manhattan, KS and Mary Lou Waddel of Spokane, WA; brother, John Thornton of Spokane, WA. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
