Kathryn Ann Partridge

Partridge, Kathryn Ann “Katie,” 56, CPA, Director of Finance at the Kansas Humane Society, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Visitation with the Family will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Friday, June 12, 2015; Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 13, 2015, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. While attending Wichita State University, Katie was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority and remained active as an alumna serving in many roles including Chapter President and House President. She was named Outstanding Alumna in 1990 and received the Cable Award in 2014. Katie has also served for over 30 years in many volunteer roles for the Wichita River Festival. She was board member and treasurer, event and committee chair, and has received the Galaxy Volunteer of the Year Award. Katie was a member of the Junior League of Wichita, a member of the Leadership Wichita Class of 1990, and the Inaugural 40 Under 40 Class of 1998. Katie also served as a Sunday school leader for her church. Preceded in death by her father, William Partridge; sister, Nancy Partridge. Survived by her mother, Joan Partridge of Wichita; brother, William “Bill” Partridge of Dallas, TX; sister, Mary Lou (Kevin) Johnson of San Francisco, CA; numerous cousins and other relatives on both sides of the family.
