Marcella B. (Ireland) Joy

Marcella B. (Ireland) Joy, 85, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016. Marcella was a homemaker and avid sportswoman. She earned state and national championships as a trapshooter during the 1970s. In later years she was an enthusiastic golfer, winning a senior state championship in 1992. She was a great support to her family and loved them dearly. Preceded by husband, John V.; mother, Genevieve Ireland Brown Huff, and brothers, Don (Lily) and Richard Brown. Survivors: daughter, Jennifer (Mark) Erickson; grandchildren, Caroline, Catherine, Christopher and Benjamin Erickson; nieces, Valerie and Gwen Brown. Service, 10:30 am, Friday, March 4, Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. Downing & Lahey West.
