Hefley, Luella S., 91, homemaker, died Monday, June 11, 2007. Service 10:00 A.M. Friday, June 15, 2007, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by her husband, Alvie M. Hefley; daughters, Diane Hefley and Barbara Christy; brother, Ezra Suderman; and sister, Neva Schroeder. She is survived by son, Rick (Mary) Hefley, Topeka, KS; daughter, Louise (Kent) Michael, Wichita, KS; brother, Orval Suderman, Hillsboro, KS; sister, Orpha Wilkinson, Mt. Hope, KS; grandchildren, Brian (Sunny) Hefley, Tracy (Sandro) Robles, Wendy Robles, Andy Michael; great-grandchild, Jordan Robles; 2 step-great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Ebenfeld Mennonite Church, P.O. Box 35, Hillsboro, KS 67063.

Rick and Louise, I loved your mom as a true aunt, not just the lady married to my uncle. She was one of the few people I can say I have only fond memories of, no harsh memories at all. Your dad found a precious jewel in Louella Suderman, if every man could find a wife like your mother, what a wonderful world this could be.
