Charlotte will be in state after 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, October 2, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Service 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 3, Palmyra Baptist Church, Benton, KS. Preceded in death by husband, Wilbur “Bus”, son, Bill Reed and grandson, Jason Reed. Survivors: daughter, Pat Scott and DeWayne Talley of Bonita Springs, FL; grandchildren, Lancer Scott (TinaRae) of Council Grove, KS, Judd Reed (Kathy) of Benton, KS, Duke Reed (Jill) of Overland Park, KS and Kirstin Talley Coverdale (Andy); great-grandchildren, RaeLyn Scott, LaiCee Scott, Nichole Spencer, Chance Reed, Graham Reed and Rachel Reed. A memorial has been established with Palmyra Baptist Church Building Fund, 999 NW Butler Rd., Benton, KS, 67017. Charlotte will be in state after 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, October 2, Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
