James F. Ulrich

Ulrich, Jim F., 81, died Thursday, June 11, 2015. Memorial Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at College Hill United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Ulrich; parents, Franklin William and Blanche Elizabeth Ulrich. Survived by his daughters, Ellen Ulrich (Jim Francis) of Augusta, KS, Renee Salmans of Wichita, Jery Lynn Ulrich of Fraser, CO; grandchildren, Drew Scofield, Aaron Weaver, Sheena Francis, Jamie Francis, Joel Weaver, Adam Salmans, Samantha Salmans; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Ulrich of Wichita. Jim lived a life of unswerving faithfulness, kindness, and service to his family, church, and friends. While married and raising children he earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Wichita State University. He retired from Boeing Military Contracts but never retired from fixing “things” or helping people. Most knew Jim as a “rock” of strength and encouragement, and often heard him meet a challenge with “weve got to work the problem.” His legacy of love, humor, and commitment will live forever in our hearts.
