Alvina H. (Vi) Collins

Collins, Alvina (Vi) H., 90, formerly of Winston-Salem, NC, died on Sunday, June 12, 2005. Vi was a long time active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Winston-Salem where she sang in the choir. She moved to Wichita in 2000 to be near family. Vi was preceded in death by her father and mother, Oscar and Dora Peterson Holverson, and her sister, Gussie Breech. A memorial service will be held at Reformation Lutheran Church, Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at 2:30 P.M. Survivors are a niece and husband, Carol and Ron Ott of Wichita, nephews and wives, Hurley and Jane Breech of Eureka, KS and Donald and Lil Breech of Hot Springs, AR and many great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Johns Lutheran Church, 2415 Silas Creek Pkwy., Winston-Salem, NC, 27103 or Christ Lutheran Church, 315 N. Elm, Eureka, KS, 67045.
