Hemans, Dr. Frederick Parsons, III, Ph.D., 60, died Thursday, February 28, 2013. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Dr. Frederick Parsons Hemans, III, Ph.D., was a dedicated professor at Wichita State University for nearly 20 years. He was widely published and highly regarded in academia for his scholarly work in classical art and architecture. He is preceded in death by his father, Frederick Parsons Hemans, Jr. He is survived by: daughter, Adriana Hemans; son, Frederick Parsons Hemans; mother, Dorothy Hemans; brother, Peter (Becky) Hemans; sisters, Christa (Paul) Besser, Marsha (Clint) Walker, Felicia Hemans.
