Steele, Kim D., 56, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on October 3, 2009. He was born on April 17, 1953 to the parents of Wilbert G. and Irene I. Rankin Steele in Dodge City, Kansas. He was an attorney for child support enforcement for sixteen years. He graduated with Bachelor degree in Arts in 1975 and a Masters degree in education in 1979 from Wichita State University. He went on to graduate with a Juris Doctrate in 1983 from Washburn School of Law. He was preceded in death by his mother. On June 17, 2006 he married Debbie K. Graves. Survivors include his wife; father and step-mother, Wilbert Bonnie Steele, of Branson, MO; brother, Don Steele and Darlene Smith, of Dodge City; son, Tedd and wife Stacy Steele, of Aurora, IL; step-sons, Craig and wife Emily Dilbeck, of Buhler, KS, Kevin and wife Jessica Dilbeck, of Hutchinson, Todd and wife Crystal Dilbeck, of Wichita; step-daughter Rachel and husband Scott Perry, of South Hutchinson. He was blessed with 10 grandchildren and two foster grandchildren; and his beloved Jericho. His memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Asbury United Methodist Church. Kim was a full body doner, donating his body for research. A memorial fund has been established with the National Kidney Foundation serving Kansas and West Missouri, 6405 Metcalf Ave, S-204, Overland Park, Kansas, 66202-4086.

It has been a long time since we have had a chance to visit, probably at one of Jetmore’s memorial day events…but that some years ago. Please pass on our condolences to Don and Wilbert.
