As a teenager, I used to wash dishes at Rutter Hall, McConnell AFB, during the ROTC summer encampments and was fortunate to get to work with Tony. He was a good boss. He loved to spoil the cadets, especially when they had picnics or if it was the end of the summer party. During parties, we used to play a game the cadets called Aircraft Carrier. We would line up about 4 dining room tables in the entry hallway of the dining hall and pour water on the tops. The cadets would get a running start and dive across with the objective to slide across all the wet tables until you slid off the end like an airplane. On a side note. My mom reminded me that my dad, who had a legal case against the Air Force for correction of personnel records, helped Tony when he needed help with a case he was dealing with. He was a great guy.
