Junior Horine

Horine, Junior, 85, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2009. Service 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 7, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Junior worked for Western Petro Chemical in Chanute for 38 years, and at the City of Chanute for 10 years. He resided with his son and family in Wichita since 2003. Preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Jane (Shipley) Horine. Survivors: son, Dan Horine (Jennifer) of Wichita; daughters, Barbara Steeves (Larry) of McLouth, KS and Linda Alexander of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchildren, Angie Wilkerson, Jennifer Steeves, Abigail Stremming, Aaron Alexander and Jessica Horine; great-grandchildren, Madison Courtney, Remington Wilkerson, Quinton Steeves, Jackson Stremming and Sydney Stremming. A memorial has been established with the American Lung Association, 40 Via Roma, Wichita, KS, 67230.
