Service, 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, June 18, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Preceded by parents; husband, John G. “Red” Epperly; son, John M. Epperly. Survivors: daughters, Jeanmarie Epperly, Jeryl (Douglas) Ayers, Liz (Shawn) Matthew, Jodi (Lowell) Pyle; son, Edward (Jana) Epperly, all of Wichita; brother, Fred (Margie) Ryan of Jackson Hole, WY; nephew, Mike (Mary Jo) Hieger of Andale; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. My love and prayers to the family. I told Jodi about the time I was asked who my inspirations were as a professional woman from the midwest and Carolyn came to mind. I also ditto Diane’s fond memories. And . . . my mom used to serve at the Lord’s Diner and felt it was a good cause. Blessings on your journey to a ‘new normal.’ She will be missed but lives on in our hearts.
