DeAnn (Haag) Dewey

DeAnn (Haag) Dewey, 75, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and elementary teacher, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 16, 2017. A celebration of DeAnns life will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 20 at Downing and Lahey Mortuary West. Her Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 21, at Church of the Resurrection. Burial will follow at Vinita Cemetery in Cheney, KS. Preceded in death by her husband, Art Haag; son, David John Haag; parents, Forrest and Doris Dewey; brother, Steve Dewey. Survivors: children, Susan Cohrs (David), Jean Skladzien (Michael), Alan Haag (Rebecca), Amy Stull (Brett), Thomas Haag, Forrest Haag (Lauren), and Elizabeth Sampson; siblings, David Dewey (Sally), Tom Dewey (Joyce), and Marsha Haag (Roger); 21 grandchildren and 1 expected in December; 19 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend their thanks and gratitude for the special care given to DeAnn by Respiratory Services of Kansas and Amedysis Hospice.
